SCF offers financial support to market women (PHOTOS)

The Sarauniya Charity Foundation (SCF) has offered financial aid to less privileged market women in Keffi, Nasarawa State.

The information was made public by the office of the president of the foundation, Hajiya Rabi’atu Umar (Fulani).

The foundation through it’s empowerment scheme has donate some financial support to less privileged women striving in their businesses due to inadequate financial capital to help thrive in their small scale business.

While speaking with newsmen concerning the recent development, the SCF President, Haj. Rabi’atu said “There is pressing need to help striving businesses of women because these women help their family with the proceedings of what the sell. The foundation after making some rigorous investigation, it found out that majority of these market women are among the less privileged in our society but rather their selling themselves short by engaging in dubious activities to make money they tend to hustle to make ends meets.”

“I believe these are the women that we needs to all look out for the most in our society because helping them will not only help them financially but in return help boost the economic state of our nation.”

“The activities of market women serve as a backbone of any thriving economy. When their businesses are buoyant, their homes and society at all layers will feel it. And when it is not buoyant, the economy, and by extension, the society will suffer for it”.

“I want to use this medium to call on the government to collaborate with NGOs like ours to come up with profound solution to help empower women. Lasty, I want task each and every able person financially buoyant to support the cause by making donating to our foundation, no amount is too small.”- she said.

Commending on the efforts of the foundation, the market chairman, Alh. Musa Mai Mangyada, said “I would like to thank the president of SCF and her entire team. In times like this, people like her and her organization are hard to come by, and we can do now is to pray for her for God to continue to guide and protest her, and help her in all her endeavors.
