SCF to sign MoU with sister NGO GMBNI to collaborate more on humanitarian interventions (PHOTOS)

The Sarauniya Charitya Foundation is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Grassroots
Mobilizer for Better Nigeria Initiative (GMBNI) sister Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) to collaborate on human development which is key in the current situation in our country.

The information was made public through the offfice of the president of SCF, Haj. Rabi’atu Umar (Fulani) after a successful outcome of a meeting with the chairperson of GMBNI, Amb. Dr. Fatima Mohammed Goni, in her office in Abuja.

In statement, she said, “SCF is glad to announce to the general public that it will be partnering with Grassroots Mobilizer for Better Nigeria Initiative (GMB) a sister non-governmental organization having a similar set of goals as our foundation which is to ameliorate the sufferings of the downtroddens and improve on the betterment of lives, youths and women empowerments, provisions of water, sanitations and healthcare delivery services as well as the promotion of peace and unity in our nation.”

“It is on this note the two bodies come together to consolidate and strategize towards achieving the ultimate goals of the NGO’s

“I would like to particularly thank our partners in these initiatives, who have been selected based on their strong track records and will work with us to ensure that this investment is directed where it’s needed the most.”

While speaking with Gulmawuya’s correspondent concerning the latest development via phone, the SCF president said “SCF and GMBNI even before the MoU are sister partners for we all share similar aims and objectives which is to find solvable solutions to a lot of problems bedweilding our various communities and hampered economic and social growths.

“I am really proud of our journey and what we have accomplished so far, and this is a stepping stone for us all at Sarauniya Charity Foundation (SCF) because it is our dedication in wanting to make a difference that brought us here today.”

“I am really fascinated by the achievements of the chairperson of GMBNI especially in the area of employment. I was really amazed of how she was able to secured employments to over 3,000 youths. These alone is a remarkable and great achievement that requires alot of accolades. It is indeed an honor to work with such a great person.”

“I want to also use this medium to encourage women everywhere to continue to avail themselves to various opportunities to become empowered, self-reliant, and independent financially. So that they can be able to help others just like Amb. Dr. Fatima and us are doing.”

Sarauniya Charity Foundation added that the partnership will come to life in key areas of shared value including promoting water sanitation and hygiene, skills development programmes for women and youths as well as accelerating meaningful agenda in Nigeria.
