Sarauniya Charity Foundation feed the needy in Abuja (PHOTOS)

In a bid to cushion the heightened spate of poverty, hunger, a Non-Governmental organisation, Sarauniya Charity Foundation, has opted to provide solace to disabled persons, needy and less privileged person living in Abuja.

The less privileged, needy and disabled community, which accounts for over dozens of persons, were given food items, such as beans, rice, noodles, tomato pastes. Sarauniya Charity Foundation as part of its project to feed a household, partnered with significant organisations to work towards fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals 2, (Zero Hunger).

The information was publicized by the office of the President of SCF, Hajiya Rabiatu Umar (Fulani).

While speaking with Gulmawuya’s correspondent Hajiya Rabi’atu said “Within the past years, Sarauniya Charity Foundation had assisted such unfortunate persons in diverse ways such as feeding, clothing and the provision of wheel chairs.”

“Doing so, is a source of blessing to give if you don’t give you don’t receive. God will bless a cheerful giver.”

According to her, the underprivileged were very intelligent and needed support to unveil their talents as such, the foundation had decided to help them become useful citizens through education.

She advised operators of orphanages not to be disturbed about negative remarks such as diversion of items meant for the homes which were not normally so.

Sarauniya Charity Foundation over the year have feed thousands of disable person, less privileged persons, widows, orphans as well as Almajiri’s in our society.
