Sarauniya Charity Foundation donates cash, food items to Almajiri school

The Sarauniya Charity Foundationg has donated cash and food items to Almajiri school.

This information was made public in a state signed by the President of Sarauniya Charity Foundation, Hajiya Rabi’atu Umar (Fulani) which reads, “it is, therefore, with utmost sense of humility and gratitude to God that we launch our Almajiri school support programme by donating food items and cash to the proprietor (Alaramas) of the Almajiri school to help in the running of the day to day activities of the school.”

“We are all familiar that hunger, hunger being one of the major effect of global stability, has dragged a lot of people into unbearable situation and even force them into crime. This gesture is aimed at giving a peace of mind to the Almijri child, who has to go out three (3) times a day to fend for what to eat on a daily basis.”

“The initiative is inline with the foundation’s effort to fight against Almajiri child hardships and make learning and life easy for them as they acquire knowledge. To reduce the educational and social inequality of Almajiri Children.”

The food items include rice, groundnut oil, palm oil, spaghetti, macaroni and many more.

The foundation have reached out and helped several almajiri schools across the nation in its bid to help make life easy for the Almajiri children.
