The Sarauniya Charity Foundation has shared wrappers to over 2,500 to female orphans and vulnerable children in Nasarawa State.
This information was disclosed to the public by the President of the Sarauniya Charity Foundation, Haj. Rabi’atu Umar (Fulani) in a statement signed by her.
“The foundation has distributed over 2,500 to 2,500 female orphans respectively. This gesture is one way the foundation feels it should support and give the orphans and the less privileged children in the society a sense of belonging.”
“We at the foundation are delighted that we can touch the lives of these children. We feel fulfilled and happy to do so. We decided to donate this wrappers to orphans as some of them don’t experience the love that they deserve, and that is why decided show our love to them by taking care of them and providing for them. There is no child that don’t admire new clothes.”
“And we strongly believe that by doing so, these children will not feel abandoned; they will know that someone out there remembers and identifies with them.”
“She said as a humanitarian organisation, SCF reaches out to widows, orphans, the vulnerable and communities in need to donate to them things that they need but they are not getting from government.”
“Hajiya Rabi’atu urged government to support humanitarian gestures geared towards alleviating the suffering of the less privileged ones in the society.” – the statement reads.
Sarauniya Charity Foundation over the years have been donating thousands of clothes to widows, orphans and the less privileged in the society.
