Sarauniya Charity Foundation donate food items and money to orphanage home (PHOTOS)

The Sarauniya Charity Foundation have donated food items and money funds to Yakubu Wanka orphanage home in Bauchi state.

The CEO of SCF, Hajiya Rabiatu Umar, who as ably represented by her aid, Mal. Mudassir, Its Chief Operating Trustee (COT), said that they would cushioning the effect of economic challenges in Nigeria.

Mal. Mudassir said that the donation was meant to cater for the less privileged in the society, especially during this harsh period.

Mal. Mudassir said: “Like we believe in our organisation, there is nothing too small to give, and there is no one that is too poor to give something.

“So, coming here to assist these little children is our own way of giving back to our society and make our community a better place.

“We know that the year has been most challenging, especially in the area of feeding.

“The economy was seriously balkanised by various problems affecting our society, and all the other social problems we have in the country.

“My advice to others is that they should join this kind of thing.”

He recounted the efforts of the organisation in reaching out to the vulnerable across Bauchi and other northern states over the years, saying that the organisation would not relent on the effort.

Also, while speaking with Gulmawuya’s correspondent via phone, Hajiya Rabi’atu Umar, the CEO of Sarauniya Charity Foundation, thanked God for the lives of those caring for the less privileged.

“We want to thank God for the lives of those of you taking care of these children. Life is from God and everyone has an expected destiny.

“We want to stand in, as helpers of destiny and that is why we have chosen your home as one of the homes we are going to visit before this year runs out,” Haj. Rabi’atu said.

Haj. Rabi’atu urged other sister non-governmental organizations to always give children in the orphanage homes whatever that was due to them.

“I know we are all doing our best in taking good care of them (orphans). Please, note that you are serving God. As you are serving God, you are serving humanity.

“We as people we should all have it at the back of your mind that these children are ours. Whatever is due to them, more and more, please give it to them,” she pleaded.

In his remarks, Mal. Abubakar, the custodian of Yakubu Wanka orphanage home, appreciated the team for the donation.

Mal. Abubakar promised that the donated items would be used to cater for the children.
