Nigerian immigration services pledge to control rampant movement of camels in Jigawa

Jigawa state command of the Nigeria Immigration Service has pledged to control rampant movement of camels in the state which cause accidents on our roads.

The state Comptroller, Ismaila Abba Ali gave the assurance today when he visited Maigatari local government in continuation of his statewide tour. He said the Command in collaboration with other security agencies would do everything possible to address the problem of stray camels in the state.

Ismaila Abba Ali also promised to intervene in ensuring that each local government in the state gets its quota in the employment at the Nigeria Immigration Service.

The Comptroller, who called on the immigrants in the state to register at the ongoing e-registration, said the issuance of e-passport suspended due to covid-19 pandemic has resumed.

Responding the chairman of Maigatari local government council Alhaji Sani Dahiru represented by the Speaker of the legislative council, Alhaji Ibrahim Adamu assured the council full support to the Service to succeed in the discharge of its duties.

Similarly, the comptroller visited Maigatari-Niger Republic border and the District Head of Maigatari.
