Jigawa state gov’t directs civil servants to resume work tuesday

Jigawa state Government has directed civil servants to resume work tomorrow, 14/08/20.


Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar gave the directive today while briefing News men at Government House Dutse.


He said civil servants must observe Covid 19 protocols that include the use of face mask, social distancing, regular hands washing and personnel hygiene in their places of work.


Alhaji Muhammad Badaru directed the reopening of forty schools for senior secondary three , junior secondary three and primary six students to pilot the full resumption of academic activities in public and private schools.


The Governor further stated that the state Ministry for Education has been directed to come up with timetable and work closely with ministry of Health to ensure the safety of students.


Speaking on Covid 19,Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar said Jigawa state his no active case in the past sixteen Days and the one patient on admission is now negative of the virus.


He therefore urged people to continue praying to bring to and end the pandemic.
